CONSENT

Please read this document carefully.  By using and ordering products from TEA WITH A TIGRESS (the website) you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Online Shop Policy document.

I may revise this document from time to time by posting a new version on the website. I recommend that you review the Online Shop Policy document periodically to ensure you are aware of the current version.

DELIVERY

We deliver Australia wide.  Delivery is FREE OF CHARGE to metropolitan areas within Australia. 

Metropolitan Areas include the following postcodes:

  • Sydney Metro:         1000 – 2249
  • Canberra Metro:      2600 – 2620
  • Melbourne Metro:     3000 – 3207
  • Brisbane Metro:        4000 – 4207, 4300 – 4305, 4500 – 4519
  • Adelaide Metro:       5000 – 5199
  • Perth Metro:            6000 – 6199
  • Hobart Metro:         7000 – 7010
  • Darwin Metro:         0800 – 0820

All shipping costs to non-metropolitan areas will be at the expense of the customer unless stipulated.  If you live outside these metropolitan areas please email me at hello@teawithatigress.com so that I can obtain a customised shipping quote for you based on your location, the size of the order and type of delivery required.

Purchases via TEA WITH A TIGRESS will be despatched and delivered by a third-party carrier. Once an order has been confirmed we are not able to refund the delivery fee paid by the customer.

It is the customers responsibility to liaise with the nominated carrier in relation to a suitable delivery time and date.  The customer will need to make themselves available to take delivery of the goods and to check the condition of the goods before signing for them upon arrival.  If there is not an appropriate authorised signatory at the delivery address to receive an order, TEA WITH A TIGRESS may pass on to you any additional delivery fees.  Once the goods are delivered to you, it is your responsibility if they are lost or damaged.

Delays in shipping do occasionally occur.  TEA WITH A TIGRESS is not liable for any loss or damage caused by any delay of delivery of product.  TEA WITH A TIGRESS is also not liable for damage caused in transit by carriers.  No refunds will be provided for goods damaged in transit.

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

TEA WITH A TIGRESS does not accept returns for change of mind. 

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, please contact me at hello@teawithatigress.com within 3 days of receiving the item.  I will endeavour to make things right within 30 days of receiving your order.  To facilitate the process, please include a detailed photograph demonstrating any damage to the item.

CANCELLATIONS

TEA WITH A TIGRESS may cancel your order at any time prior to the despatch of goods.  In the event of a cancellation, funds paid by the customer will be refunded as soon as possible.

When placing an order with TEA WITH A TIGRESS we require a physical street address for delivery (not a PO Box) and your phone number. 

ORDERS & PRICING

All orders make through the TEA WITH A TIGRESS online store are subject to confirmation and acceptance by TEA WITH A TIGRESS.

All services and products are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion.  All payments are processed in Australian dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST.  Prices for items or services are fixed once your order has been confirmed.  Subsequent price changes cannot be applied to an order once it has been confirmed. 

TEA WITH A TIGRESS accepts no responsibility for orders that due to internet connection problems are declined or not accepted.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Unfortunately, special order items, which have been arranged as a specific customer request, cannot be returned or exchanged, unless of course, the product is faulty.  If this is the case, please contact TEA WITH A TIGRESS immediately.

Special order items may take between 1 and 12 weeks to be delivered, depending on the product type, brand, stock availability and your location within Australia.

STOCK LEVELS

TEA WITH A TIGRESS will sell products direct and products available through wholesalers that only sell to interior designers.  In some unfortunate cases we may not be able to fulfil the order at the time of dispatch.  If this occurs, we will notify the customer immediately and any funds paid by the customer will be refunded as soon as possible.  We sincerely apologise should this situation arise.

PRODUCT WARRANTIES

All products sold on TEA WITH A TIGRESS should be free from detects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of purchase under normal residential use.  Our suppliers will refund the cost of the product, replace the product, supply equivalent product. or repair any part of the product, covered by this warranty free of charge during the 12 months from the date of dispatch, provided the item has been used for normal household purposes and maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided. 

Any improper or negligent use or neglect detected by the assessor will automatically void this warranty.  This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage arising from abnormal use, abuse or placement in inappropriate locations
  • Products that have not been maintained or have been modified
  • Commercial, contract, rental, institutional or other non-residential use.
APPLICABLE LAW

All products sold on TEA WITH A TIGRESS and these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of Queensland, Australia.
